Village Authority Council praises CM, local MLA

Imphal, April 26 2018: The Namraining Tamei Headquarters Authority, on behalf of the people of Tamei Sub Division expressed its heartfelt gratitude to CM N Biren, local MLA Munhu Awangbow Newmai and SBI authority fortheir concerted effort in reopening the SBI at Tamei, which is long cherished dream of the people of Tamei Sub Division.

A press release issued by Village Authority Council Tamei HQ Chairman stated that the people of Tamei and its surrounding villages have been deprived of banking facilities since 1980.Inspite of the repeated demand, reopening SBI at Tamei continued to be neglected by the respective Govts for the last 45 years, however, the slogan "Go to Hills" of CM N Biren has borne fruits for the downtrodden people, it stated.

It expressed extreme satisfaction to CM and local MLA and the bank authorities for their prompt action to bring various developments by placing the immediate needs of the people in the top list.

It further added that the people are also grateful for constructing 'R Tale Memorial Women Market' at Namraining, Tamei HQs.

It also extended gratitude to CM and his Govt for laying the foundation of doctors, nurses and teacher's transit hostel and police camp at Tamei HQs.

The Chairman as well as the people have expressed firm belief that the CM along with the local MLA will continue to give fullest effort to uplift the downtrodden people in Tamei area.
