Imphal, April 26 2015 : Pong Lambi, an important road which connects Porompat, Khurai, Kongpal and Top Khongnang Makhong etc with other localities of Imphal East district is now in a pathetic condition.

According to locals, around 150-feet long portion of the road had sunk at Kongpal Khaidem Leikai some time back.

At Khurai Kongkham Leikai, the road is more deplorable with the onset of rainy season, they said.

Saying that many accidents occur due to bad road condition, the locals urged the Government to revamp the road at the earliest.
