Maram Thangal tribe extend full support to ongoing Indo-Naga peace talk

Maram Thangal Union, in a joint meeting held on October 24 at MultiPurpose Hall, Katomei village, Senapati, resolved to extend full support to the on-going Indo-Naga Peace Talk and urged for logical solution, said a press statement issued by the union.
The meeting was attended by host of leaders and personalities from the two communities including the Maram and Thangal Union executives, national workers, ranks and files from Maram Thangal region, present and former ADC members, ex-MLAs/Ministers, intellectuals, Maram Thangal Women Union, Student leaders (MKS/TAJ), religious leaders of MRNBA/TNBA/MACA/CRC and leaders from different zones.
On learning the significant bearing of the Indo-Naga Peace Talks held on October 24 at Delhi between the leaders from GoI and NSCN (IM), a mass spoken prayer led by Rev RK Cheijinba, executive secretary, TNBA was pronounced especially for the leaders who are involved in the crucial peace talk.
The meeting was reportedly presided by A John, president, Maram Thangal Council (MTC) and recorded by T Abraham, Asst Gen Secy MTC.
Some of the important personalities who spoke and shared their views and ideas on the Indo-Naga Peace Talk, present prevailing scenario, strengthening peace & harmony and unity etc were K Raisong president Maram Union, YK Kaping president Thangal Union, leaders from National Workers (Maram Thangal Region), ex-MLAs/Ministers and Intellectuals.
After intense deliberations, the house took three resolutions unanimously to extend unflinching support to the Naga negotiators and urged for early solution, to welcome any honourable, inclusive, logical and acceptable solution, to stand united and extend full support to any leader or individual who work and stand in the interest and welfare of the people.
