TSA appeals, warns teacher

Chandel, March 25 2015: Thadou Student's Association, Chandel, in a statement issued by its education and statistics secretary, has appealed to all the teachers and other non-teaching staff deployed in the district to maintain punctuality and exhibit seriousness in their work.

TSA, it stated, would organise a routine inspection drive in educational institutes of the district in order to promote quality education.

The statement also asked Ts Sharmila Monsang, assistant teacher under ADC Chandel to report at the TSA office on March 30 for counselling.

Sharmila was transferred to Lhunnajang Primary School, Chandel on March 1, 2014.The assistant teacher has not attended the school since her reporting on March 10 last year.

The association, it stated, would take up strict action against Sharmila in case she fails to report to the TSA's office within the stipulated time.
