CADA organises awareness on COVID-19

Imphal, September 24 2020: Coalition Against Drugs & Alcohol (CADA) organised an awareness programme on COVID-19 at Mondum, Kakching, today.

The programme was held in collaboration with Thoubal District United Women's Development Organisation (Thoubal Ima), Tokpaching Apunba Meira Paibi Lup conforming to SOPs for COVID, said CADA in a statement.

Hijam Priyokumar , president CADA; Moirangthem (o) Sanatombi, secretary, Thoubal Ima; Sorokhaibam Nena, president, CADA Kakching district committee and Salam Tababi, member, Tokpaching Apunba Meira Paibi Lup attended the programme as presidium members.

Mayengbam Budhi, secretary organization, CADA and Dipanjit Ningthoujam, Vice-president, CADA also attended the programme.

On the occasion, Mayengbam Budhi said the obeying the safety measures announced by the Government such as washing hands regularly, wearing a face mask and maintaining physical distancing etc.

Disregarding these measures when meeting relatives, friends will also encourage COVID transmission, he added.
