AR organises free medical camp

Kakching, December 23 2017:
Continuing its humanitarian activities for the welfare of local populace in the far flung areas of the State and as part of DGAR CAP project, 39 Assam Rifles/HQ 28 Sector, under the aegis of HQ Inspector General of Assam Rifles (South) organised a free medical camp at Serou, Kakching district on December 23 .
A total of 250 people from Serou and its surrounding villages participated in the camp in which medicines were also distributed for free .
Before the commencement of the camp, a lecture on ‘Lifestyle diseases’ was provided by Medical Officer, Captain Sanjeev Kumar and Assistant Commandant Manish Kumar of 39 AR Bn.
Pradhan of Serou village and the villagers expressed gratitude to Assam Rifles for the continuous support and commendable initiatives which has been provided time and again to the villagers .
The Pradhan wished 39 AR a great success in their future endeavours.
Apart from distributing free medicines, screening for malaria and other diseases were also conducted.
