KCP(TG) pledges support to War on Drugs

Imphal, July 23 2024: Taking serious note of the devastating impacts of drugs on the society, KCP (Taibanganba Group) has pledged support to the Government's War on Drugs.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's information and public relation officer Khongnangthaba Meitei, the outfit's central committee has decided to take up strong actions against all those people dealing in drugs as well as those related to the business of drugs.

Even though Meiteis cannot go to the hills and the Kukis cannot come to the valley on account of the violent crisis, drugs of all kinds are available abundantly across Kangleipak, it said.

The outfit sees the issue of drug abuse as a public health issue and drug dealers as criminals, it said.

Giving a list of 54 individuals, the outfit has asked these individuals to come to them (KCP-TG) within 10 days.
