Imphal, April 23 2017: Students of Boby Art, Palace Compound and their guardians warmly welcomed and presented many gifts to Oinam Catherine who bagged a Merit Award in the Peace Poster Contest organised by Lions Club International Headquarters, Chicago, USA, on April 17, conveyed a press release issued today by the secretary of Boby Art.

Oinam Catherine, daughter of Oinam Ibomcha and Oinam (o) Kalpana from Nambol Lourembam Awang Leikai, is a class IX student of Maria Montessori Senior Secondary School and is the only contestant from India to be among the 23 selected for the award where students from more than 60 countries competed.

She had also won the silver medal in the World Children Painting Competition, 2016 which was held at Tinchiang, China, it added.
