Imphal, August 22 2020: Artistes and members of the Manipur State Shumang Lila Council (MSSLC) have mourned the demise of Takhellambam Dashing, a well-known nupi shabee artiste of Shumang Leela, during a condolence service held today at Konung Mamang.

The gatherings also paid floral tributes at the photo of Dashini, who had made an immense contribution in promoting the performing art of Manipur.

Takhellambam Dashini of Takhellambam Leikai expired at the age of 65 on August 12, 2020.During his lifetime, he played major roles in many plays of Meitei Leima Jatra cum Drama Association, Sagolband Moirang Leirak and Women Dance and Dramatic Union, Taothong.
