Free spectacle distribution programme held

Bishnupur, March 21 2017: A 'free spectacle distribution programme' was held at Loktak Power station today as a part of CSR-SD programme.

The programme was inaugurated by Chief Engineer in charge of Loktak power station Bedi Ram in presence of senior officials.

Bedi Ram stated that the medical department of the power station has been conducting free cataract operations and distributing free spectacles/medicines to the patients.

He said that the department has been organising coaching camps to educationally backward children, constructing community halls and providing drinking water facilities to neighbouring villages as a part of CSR-SD programme.

He congratulated the medical department for their efforts to make the programme successful.
