Imphal, November 20 2021: The Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR) observed International Children's Day, 2021 at the premises of the Directorate of Social Welfare on the theme 'Helping Children to recover from interruption and loses experienced from pandemic' .

MCPCR in a press release informed that the objective of celebrating the International Children's Day is to bring all the stakeholders on a common platform and discuss for the better service deliveries to the children who are in need of care and protection because of the pandemic.

Delivering the keynote address, Chairperson of MCPCR, Manibabu Phurailatpam focused on ways to help children for their better future as they are the pillars of the society.

The observance was also attended by the Director (Social Welfare, Manipur), officials of Social Welfare Manipur, members and staff of MCPCR and consultants of MCPCR.
