Entrepreneurship development programme concludes

Technology Based Entrepreneurship Development Programme for food processing organized by Manipur Science and Technology Council (MASTEC), Imphal since December 10, 2018 for six weeks at Practising Junior High School, Kakching concluded yesterday.
The closing function of the programme which was conducted with the support of EDII, DST-NIMAT, Ahmedabad was attended by Senior Scientific Officer, Manipur Science and Technology Council, Dr L Dinachandra Singh as chief guest, Food Technologist M Tonjao Singh as guest of honour and Deputy Inspector of Schools, ZEO Kakching, Mayanglambam Ibomcha Singh as functional president.
The Entrepreneurship Development Programme was attended by 17 trainees including 12 women and 5 men and trained by Food Technologist M Tonjao Singh as master trainer and taught different ways of food processing during the programme.
On the concluding day, three best trainees were awarded including Suchitra Hijam of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai as first best trainee, N Bidyaluxmi Devi of Kakching Khunyai Leikai as 2nd best trainee, Y Vidyadhar Singh of Kakching Mayai Leikai as 3rd best trainee.
Certificates were also distributed to all the trainees while food processed during the training were also exhibited during the function.
