Bishnupur, December 19 2017: MLA of Oinam AC, L Radhakishore Singh, under the MLA Local Area Development Fund, distributed GI sheets to the poor families of the constituency, today .

A total of 540 bundle of GI sheets were purchased from the Rs 15 lakh fund and the MLA, in person, visited the downtrodden families at Ngaikhong Khullen, Toubul and Khoijuman, to hand over the sheets required per house .

Speaking to media person, he assured to distribute the GI sheets at all the villages of the AC, in the near future .

Around 5 bundles of GI sheets were distributed per house and the MLA provided a sum of Rs 5000 to those families whose financial condition are very poor .

He stated that the initiative to distribute the sheets was taken up considering the families who are not able to build a proper house of their own .

If the GI sheets are not enough, there are more in stock, he further assured .

DC, Bishnupur, Bobby Waikhom, Ngaikhong Gram Panchayat Pradhan Bala Devi, EE, DRDA L Rajendro Singh, AE, DRDA, L Ranjit Singh and Assistant programme officer, DRDA, Dr N Mumamthoi were present at the time of distribution.
