Senapati, May 19 2025: Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Promotion Council of India (MSME PCI), Manipur State, conducted a training programme at its head office in Senapati aimed at promoting various government schemes across the hill districts.

The initiative targeted farmers, newly established entrepreneurs, unemployed youth and individuals in need of essential services.

In his address, MSME PCI Manipur State chairman Dr Romeo Thono Paokhomai expressed elation over presence of officials from various districts at the programme.

He, however, lamented that the training was delayed due to the prevailing situation in the state.

Even then, he expressed hope that the participants would now be better equipped to carry out their responsibilities effectively.

Resource persons including Delhi University research scholar and lawyer Akansha Sharma spoke on various topics including Ayushman/Health card, Udyam, CSC, PM Vishwakarma, PM Solar Program, Skill India Mission, Soil Labs, PM Internship, PM Mudra Yojana, Aadhaar Centre and women empowerment.

Recognition certificates for different staff of different districts were presented with a citation.

Participants from Ukhrul, Kamjong, Chandel, Tamenglong, Noney, Tengnoupal, Kangpokpi, Senapati, Churachandpur, and Jiribam attended the training session.
