CRPF conducts civic action programme

Kangpokpi, November 18 2020: A civic action programme was conducted in Kharam village under Kangpokpi district yesterday.

The programme was organised by 86 Battalion CRPF under the aegis of Randeep Datta, IGP Manipur and Nagaland Sector and under the supervision of Sh Kalyan Singha, Commandant 86 Bn CRPF.

During the programme, Sh Kalyan Singha distributed sports items like football, volleyball, badminton rackets and shuttlecocks, carrom board ets to the Sports Club Kharam.

Addressing the gathering Sh Kalyan Singha stated that the programme was conducted with the view to increase the interest of youth in sports activities and the items were distributed in the interest of local youth and to maintain the cordial relation between security forces and local people.

The chief of Kharam village Rengsinchong and the secretary Tilip and various dignitaries also attended the programme.

The villagers praised the initiative of 86 Bn CRPF and extended their gratitude.
