Imphal, January 17 2014 : Staff re-porter of The Sangai Express, Moirangthem Rustum bagged the second prize in the photo competition held in connection with the Road Safety Week observance which concluded today with a simple yet im-pressive function.

N Jonish Singh was adjudged winner of the Photo competition while N Tombi Meitei won the third prize.

A citation each and cash award were presented to the winners.

Prizes were given to the winners by M Lakhsmiku-mar, Secretary (Transport), Govt of India at a ceremony held today at the Directorate of Transport, Babupara here.

In the slogan competition, Ph Surjit Sharma, Kh Prema-nanda and Najiya Hassan were adjudged the first, second and third prize winners respectively.

The prize distribution programme was also attended amongst others by Dy Director of Transport (Plg), BK Sharma and DSP (Traffic), Y Victoria Devi.
