Swachhta Hi Seva campaign launched at different districts

Chandel/Ccpur/Bpur/Kpi, September 15 2018:
Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Krishna Kumar, today launched 'Swachhta Hi Seva' campaign at DC HQ complex, Chandel which was organized by NYK, Chandel while SP Chandel Angam Kamei Romanus, Addl Deputy Commissioner Chandel Dr A Chinglenkhomba Meetei, SDO Chandel Ksh Siddharth, AC to DC Chandel Loktongbam Leander, SDC Chandel M Gautam, SDC Khengjoi Md Hefajuddin and other DLOs attended the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Chandel stressed on the significance of cleanliness and hygiene in our lives and society.
He also expressed gratitude to the youth and members of Royal Riders, Chandel and Eimi Riders, Manipur for their earnest participation and appealed to propagate the message of cleanliness as was dreamt by Mahatma Gandhi to the people of Chandel.
DC Chandel along with SP Chandel flagged off a bike rally from DC HQ Chandel at the end of the programme.
Churachandpur:
Meanwhile, a Mass Rally converging to YPA Hall from Tuibong Forest Gate and Launching of "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign were simultaneously conducted today at YPA Hall, Hiangtam Lamka, Churachandpur.
The event, which brought together over 500 students from different Schools and DLOs from different line Departments, took pledge on the "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign.
Attending the launching programme of "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign Shyam Lal Poonia (IAS) DC Churachandpur said that the campaign is a nationwide cleanliness movement where every denizens of Churachandpur has a role in keeping their surroundings clean.
While motivating the students the DC Churachandpur said that they should aim high and work hard to achieve their goal while explaining the various benefits of Right to Education (RTE).
K Kabib (IPS) SP Churachandpur, TK Simte (MCS) CEO ADC Churachandpur, S Khaikhopau Ngaihte (MCS) AC-I, Ginmuan Ngaihte (MCS) AC-II, Hatneilhing Shoute, EE (PHED) and other DLOs of the District attended the event.

The district administration launched Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) today to reinforce the principle "Sanitation is everyone's business and with the vision of a Clean India" at Conference Hall, Mini-Secretariat campus.
The DC, SP and DLOs participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Pawan Yadav, the Deputy Commissioner of the district urged the people to extend their support in the campaign and promote personal and public hygiene in their own house and in their periphery.
During the programme, the participants signed Swachhata Hi Seva pledge to keep the surroundings of Schools, Colleges, Hospitals and other public places neat and clean, and to propagate the message of Swachh Bharat Mission in villages and towns.
The campaign was launched as a precursor to the launch of the 150th birth anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhi and will be observed till the October 2.Moreover, a cleanliness drive was conducted in and around Ibudhou Thangjing Mooring under the supervision of MLA Moirang AC P Sharatchandra Singh which was organized by BJP Moirang Mandal.
MLA Moirang AC P Sharatchandra Singh, BJP Councillor of Moirang Municipal Council, Pradhan Kwakta Gram Panchayat Nahapik Ahmadi and workers of BJP took part in the drive while a team of Moirang police led by SDPO Moirang O Sukumar and OC Moirang RK Anilkumar along with women and men police personnel also took part in the cleanliness drive.
Kangpokpi:
A massive cleanliness drive was carried out yesterday at Kangpokpi DHQs under Swachhta Hi Seva in connection with Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Mission) .
The cleanliness drive was jointly organized by Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi and Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council Kangpokpi while all DLOs of Kangpokpi and staffs of DC and ADC Sadar Hills participated in the cleanliness drive.
Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills flagged off the cleanliness drive in the presence of Dr Rangitabali Waikhom (IAS) DC Kangpokpi, Thangjakam Misao Vice Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, T Manihar Singh (MCS) Chief Executive Officer SHADC Kangpokpi, Chunglenmang Kipgen (MCS) SDO Tujang Waichong/Champhai, Kaigoulal Kipgen (MCS) SDC (HQ) Kangpokpi and other officials and staffs of DC and ADC Sadar Hills.
Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, DC Kangpokpi, Vice Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, CEO SHADC Kangpokpi and other officials and staffs of DC and ADC Sadar Hills planted tree saplings during the cleanliness drive.
