Imphal, May 15 2022: Imphal West District Commando as a part of their preventive and security measures carried out cordon and house to house search operations in different parts of Imphal West district today.

The cordon and search operations were carried out under the command of M Amit Additional SP Operation led by Inspector P Achouba OC Imphal West.

The cordon and house to house search operations were carried out at Chingmeirong Mamang Leikai and Chingmeirong Maning Leikai today morning.

During today's search operation, more than 50 houses were thoroughly searched and verified more than 70 persons including ten bail out of different underground outfits however no one was picked up for further investigations.

Later the same team carried out a cordon and search operation at Paona Bazar in front of Jain Mandir today evening.

During that 130 persons were verified by the commando team and detained four persons who had failed to produce their proper verification identity proofs and handed them over to City Police Station concerned for further verification.
