Manipur State Commission for Women clarifies

Imphal, January 15 2022: The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) has clarified that the ten engaged staff engaged in different nomenclature by the then Chairperson of the MSCW were dis-engaged by the Commission as their engagement to the Commission were found to be invalid.

In a press release issued in this regard by the Chairperson (In-charge), MSCW further informed that mandatory formalities like approvals for engaging the ten staff in the Commission were not taken from the State Government.

Also no posts were created in the Commission such as Senior Technical Assistant cum PS to the Chairperson, Programme Officer, Accountant (i/c), Field Assistant etc and remuneration given to them is also not as par with the State Finance Department (PIC) .

Many irregularities were found while engaging them therefore inorder to streamline the irregularities in the Commission, the State Government has taken up the steps to dis-engage them, added the press release.
