ASI Hitler must apologise, says KYU

Kangpokpi, January 15 2020: Condemning the disgraceful act of ASI Hitler at Kangpokpi Bazar yesterday, Kangpokpi Youth Union demanded the erring police officer to render apology at the earliest for defaming the town.

KYU president, Haolet Khongsai said that the shocking and disgraceful act of ASI Hitler which went viral on social media defame Kangpokpi town in all possible ways.

He also said that the youth union has been promoting violence-free Kangpokpi Town ever since it becomes a District Headquarters and even embarked on night duty to monitor such unwanted incident in the town.

"Even if the union respect the police department for their pivotal role in maintaining law and order we will not tolerate when the law enforcement agency themselves break the law", he continued ASI Hitler must render an apology for defaming Kangpokpi town at the earliest, he said and demanded the authority concerned to terminate the police officer at the earliest.

On the other hand, Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) also condemned ASI Hitler for attacking a truck driver at Kapao Village, Kangpokpi on January 14.Saying that the video which went viral on social media was disturbing and all citizens have every right to raise their voice against such heinous act, SDSA urged the State Government to terminate the service of ASI Hitler.

The apex student's body lauded Kangpokpi SP for the timely response with a prompt action taken against the erring culprit.
