One-day political conference held at Eden Hill, Tamenglong

Tamenglong, December 14 2020: The Naga People's Front, Tamenglong Division has organised a one-day political conference at its office at Eden Hill, Tamenglong HQ, today.

The program began with an invocation prayer by Pouri Gangmei, Asst Pastor, Chiuluan Baptist Church, followed by a welcome address from Khangthuanang Panmei, Vice-president, NPF, Manipur State Unit.

Forest Minister Awangbow Newmai graced the function as chief guest.

T Robert Maram, working president, NPF, Manipur State Unit; Honreikhui, gen secy (Admin) NPF Manipur State Unit; Aripon Ringkangmei, gen secy, NPF Manipur State Unit; ST Esa, secy- NPF, MSU; Namsinrei Panmei, Chairman, Tamenglong Autonomous District Council and Khangthonang Panmei, former MLA also attended the programme as presidium members.

At the programme, Awangbow Newmai, while extending Christmas greetings to all the participants, said that 'NPF was established in 1963, by Kd Suisha to exercise 'our democratic rights and express our concerns in the Parliament & State Assembly' .

NPF is a political party that stands for peace, love & respect and has an objective to bring a peaceful co-existence between Nagas & Union of Indian through political dialogue by sending the people's representative to the Parliament & State Assembly as well.

NPF party leaders & workers from various Constituencies also attended the programme.
