Imphal, November 14 2013: The Meetei Mayek version of Sagolsem Indrakumar's award winning children's literature entitled 'Thada Thabaton' has been released today along with a simple function at Dave Literature Centre, DM College campus.

The Manipuri (Bengali script) novel 'Thada Thabaton' had been awarded with the 2002 Sahitya Akademi Bal Sahitya Puraskar Manipur.

The said novel has been translated into Meetei Mayek (script) by Dr Rajkumari Musuksana with Dr Sagolsem Lanchenba Meetei elaborating about the book for the audience present at the release function.

As chief guest of the event former president of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad B Jayantakumar Sharma released the latest version of the novel while Manipur State Kala Akademi secretary S Vedeswar Sharma presided over the function.
