Imphal, June 13 2011:
Taking serious note of not appointing a State and National award winner anganwadi worker to the post of Supervisor in the State Social Welfare Department, Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO), Sadar Hills has warned that it will not remain silent if the department fails to deliver justice in this regard.
Kimkhoneng Chongloi was feted with the best anganwadi worker award by the State Government for the year 2002-03, said a memorandum submitted to Social Welfare Minister.
She received National anganwadi award in the same year, it added.
The memorandum further said, she was however not selected in the Supervisor's interview conducted by the department although she has required qualification, experience and service.
KSO Sadar Hills would approach the higher authority especially Union Ministry of Women and Child Development if the State Social Welfare Department fails to acknowledge the experience and service of the awardee, the memorandum added.
