Tamenglong, January 13 2015: A four-day mammoth programme of Langmei village (Chiang) entitled 'Chianglun Thoidam Lengbo Chamrang ' which began on January 9, concluded yesterday.

A large number of people attended the closing function, reports NNN.

Langmei villagers settled in Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and elsewhere gathered at the village and sought blessings together.

Learned personalities of the village enlightened the people with their speeches in this four-day gala event.

Feasting, fasting, cultural bonanza and social gatherings were the main features of the Chianglun Thoidam Lengbo Chamrang programme.

Women who have married outside the community/village also came and participated in the programme.
