SBI donates tractor with heavy duty grass cutter to MPTC

Imphal, March 12 2025:
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the State Bank of India (SBI) has donated a tractor equipped with a heavy-duty grass cutter to the Manipur Police Training College (MPTC),Pangei.
According to a release issued by RIMS, the donation aims to support the college in maintaining its vast facilities, which had been facing challenges in upkeep.
Dhruba Charan Bal, General Manager, Network II, SBI, Local Head Office, Guwahati Circle, officially handed over the tractor and grass cutter to Arbin Kumar, Additional Director General of Police (Training), Manipur.
The handover ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Sorokhaibam Gautam Singh, Deputy Director, V/c Director, MPTC; Khumukcham Okendra Singh, Regional Manager, SBI, Regional Business Office, Imphal; and Moirangthem Devakishore, Assistant General Manager, SBI Imphal Branch.
Speaking at the event, Dhruba Charan Bal emphasized SBI's commitment to community welfare and infrastructure development through its CSR programs.
He expressed hope that this contribution would enhance the maintenance of the training college's facilities and provide a better environment for police trainees.
Arbin Kumar conveyed his gratitude to SBI for their generous support and highlighted the importance of such contributions in improving the infrastructure and operational efficiency of the training college.
