Chandel , February 12 2016 : With the objective of streamlining the District Administration, a District Level Officers (DLO) meeting of Chandel district was held at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Chandel today, our correspondent reports.

The meeting was presided by Robert Singh Kshetrimayum, DC, Chandel.

Several issues relating to developmental schemes in the district were discussed at the meeting.

An interaction and discussion session on the problems faced while imple- menting developmental schemes in the district and means to overcome the problems were also held during the meet- ing.

Urging the department heads to work wholeheartedly for the development of the district, the DC appealed the same to ensure regular attendance and maintain cleanliness in the departmental offices.

He later released MGNREGA's 2016 calendar published by the District Rural Develop- ment Agency (DRDA), Chandel at the meeting.

Chandel SP N Herojit; CO, 8th Bn Manipur Rifles M Rajen; Chandel Addl Deputy Commissioner S Sambhunath Singh and Sub-Divisional Officers also attended the meet- ing among others.
