Lainingthou Sanamahi Lup, Bangladesh appeals

Imphal, November 11 2024: Lainingthou Sanamahi Laining Lup, Bangladesh has appealed to the people of Manipur to extend financial assistance for construction of Lainingthou Sanamahi Shanglen at Kunagaon in Bangladesh.

Speaking to the media, Ningombam Jamuna, member of Lainingthou Sanamahi Laining Lup, Bangladesh said, the foundation stone for construction of the Shanglen was laid on April 1, 2023 and construction started from that day, but the work was hampered by the violence that occurred in Bangladesh and the May 3 violence that erupted in Manipur.

The Shanglen after construction will stand tall as a significant asset for the people of Bangladesh who follow Sanamahi Laining, she added.

Jamuna also shared that the Lup is planning to inaugurate the Shanglen by February and urged the people to provide financial assistance to help complete the construction.

She further appealed to the people to cooperate in the Lup's effort to promote Sanamahi Laining.
