BJP Imphal West district organises painting competition

Imphal, August 11 2022: BJP Imphal West district organised a State level painting competition for students today at Iboyaima Shanglen, Palace Compound as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The inaugural function was graced by BJP State Unit president, A Sarda; Social Welfare Minister H Dingo; Langthabal AC MLA, Karam Shyam; BJP Imphal West president, Phoni and Khadi and Village Industries Board Chairman, N Nimbus along with other prominent party members.

Expressing joy over the celebration of 75 years of India's independence, A Sarda said that the painting competition was organised to instil patriotism among the young kids.

As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, various competitions will be held tomorrow including a mega marathon, she added.

She further informed that plans are underway to conduct silent rally on August 14 .

A total of 596 students participated in today's painting competition.
