Chandel, January 11 2018: Director of ICAR Research Complex for NE hill Region, Umain, N Prakash inaugurated the Savangrii Food processing Centre at Monsang Pantha village, Chandel district today.

The food processing centre was managed by Savangrii Self help group under the sponsorship of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Chandel, ICAR Research Complex for NE Hill region, Manipur Centre as a part of the Tribal Sub Plan.

N Pakash, KVK, Chandel Senior Scientist and head Dr Deepak Singh, ICAR manipur centre Horticulture Scientist Dr S Roy, Monsang Pantha village Mantri Ng Khamdil attended the inaugural ceremony as dignitaries.

KVK Home Science, ACTO, Dr Y Prabhabati, Animal Science ACTO Dr A Ameeta Devi, Agriculture Engineering ACTO Dr K Sonamani Singh, Plant Breeding ACTO Ts Leenda Monsang were also present at the event.

Meanwhile, the Parim Agro Food Processing Centre of parim SHG in Lambung village, Chandel DHQs was also inaugurated by N Prakash.
