Imphal, December 09 2008: The Joint Forum for Transporters' Welfare, Tamenglong has resolved that the ticket booking counter and the bus parking lot of Imphal-Tamenglong service be shifted to some suitable place since its has been the cause of erratic transport system in the district, reports our Tamenglong correspondent.

While deciding that the buses plying between Imphal and Tamenglong should be bound under a single association, the Forum has also resolved that the present transporters along the Imphal-Tamenglong route should resume their service within December 15.Otherwise, the Forum would be constraint to arrange an alternative means of transportation in public interest.
