Executive Committee meeting held

Imphal, September 09 2024: The United Proto Indigenous People of Manipur (UPIPM) conducted an Executive Committee meeting at its office premises in Thongju Pheijaleitong, Imphal East on Sunday.

The meeting was chaired by UPIPM president Kh Suresh Singh, said a release issued by UPIPM.

Members of UPIPM including N Sekhor, Kh Suresh Singh, Telem Naoba, Yumnam Boy Singh, L Nabadwip Meitei, Yambem Shamungou, Th Gobardhon, O Nepoleon Singh, Laishram Romikanta Singh, Laishram Ingomacha Singh, Th Gokulchand Singh, L Jatra Singh, S Ibobi Singh, Ningombam Sanajaoba Singh and Mutum Raja Singh attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the Executive Committee observed two minutes of silence to pay respect to the people who lost their lives in the inhumane attacks carried out by Kuki Narco-Terrorists.

The Executive Committee also shared their solidarity to the people who were injured in the terror attacks.

The meeting resolved to open a SBI Account in the name of the United Proto Indigenous People of Manipur at Singjamei Branch Manipur and authorise the operation of the account for the year 2024-25 jointly by two out of three office bearers namely Kh Suresh Singh, Laishram Romikanta Singh (general secretary) and Thingujam Gokulchand Singh (treasurer).

The meeting also resolved to purchase official material required for running office and making of official seal, symbol, printing of letterhead, receipt book and other required stationary items.
