Rongmei Naga Council Manipur urges for restoration of mobile internet services

The Rongmei Naga Council Manipur (RNCM) demanded immediate restoration of mobile internet services in the districts of Tamenglong and Noney including all routes along NH-37 at the best interest of the people and commuters plying on the Highway.
RNCM Vice president, Athan Rongmei in a press release highlighted that all basic and fundamental services like banking, postal services, hospitals, schools and online studies etc have been hampered and stopped causing huge loss and inconveniences to all sections of society especially on health, education and business sectors both in Tamenglong and Noney district Headquarters and in rural areas.
The Rongmei people have been extending all possible help in the process of restoration of peace and harmony in the State and have been instrumental in ensuring and assisting all the Governmental agencies and communities for uninterrupted supplies of essential goods services for the State along the NH-37 from Jiribam to Imphal since day one of the present crisis in Manipur, said the release.
RNCM further warned that protests will be staged along NH-37 if the Government fails to restore mobile internet services within one week.
