Jiribam, December 07 2024: Womenfolk of Jiribam staged sit-in protest in front of Congress Bhawan office, Babupara, Jiribam today demanding withdrawal of NIA cases filed against Korounganba Khuman, leader of Arambai Tenggol.

The protesters wielded placards with messages such as "Withdraw NIA charges levelled against Korounganba Khuman", "Stop arresting members of Arambai Tenggol".

Speaking to the media persons, Lairembam Probha a protester voiced strong opposition to the Government's action to levelled NIA cases against Korounganba Khuman, leader of Arambai Tenggol.

She continued that Korounganba should not be arrested and if the authority tries to arrest Korounganba Khuman, the mothers of Jiribam will not remain silent.
