Imphal, September 07 2024: Accusing the Central forces of openly taking the side of 'Kuki narco terrorists', the Youth of Manipur (YoM) has said that they are prepared to launch a massive agitation of the same intensity as the one seen in Bangladesh recently, if necessary.

Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club today, YoM chairman Sintha-ngamba Lourembam claim- ed that the Central forces have been providing material to assemble weapons to the 'Kuki narco terrorists' apart from training the latter to use military technology.

Urging the Central forces to admit if they are going to forget the hostility against Meeteis or take action against 'Kuki terrorists' if there is foreign hand in the violence, he asserted that the Central forces should at least let the village volunteers guard Meetei villages if they are not going to protect the lives and properties of Meetei people.

There is enough evidence of the Central forces taking the side of 'Kuki terrorists,' he claimed and appealed to both the ruling and the Opposition parties to under- stand the sentiment of the people and act accordingly.
