LEIKOL continues year-long observance of Khaidem Pramodini's 100th birth anniversary

Imphal, February 06 2024: LEIKOL (Leimarol Khorjeikol) observed the centenary birth anniversary celebration of renowned writer Khaidem Pramodini at its office premises located at Kwakeithel Moirangpurel today.

The ceremony was organised as part of LEIKOL's year long observance of Khaidem Pramodini's 100th birth anniversary with today's event marking the second month of the observance.

The event was graced by Laishram Boby Devi, Up-Adhyaksha Imphal West; Ngangom Akasini, vice president, LEIKOL and Nomita Khongbantabam, senior reporter, Huiyen Lanpao as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Nomita Kh shared that the works of Khaidem Promodini published in "Echema" journal (Guwahati) will be compiled and published in a book soon.

In addition, preparations are underway to organise a programme honouring the late writer and lyricist at Guwahati, she added.
