Imphal, July 05 2014 :
Inadequate infrastructure, deficiency of faculty members and non-teaching staff have plunged CC Higher Secondary School students's into great difficulties.
Talking to media persons in a press meet held at Manipur press club, CC Higher sec's students' union representative Wahengbam Ananda appealed to the State Government to act at the earliest taking into account the plight of the students.
He further added that the union will resort to indefinite class boycott in case the Government shows indifference upon the matter.
Wahengbam Ananda said that there is shortage of teaching staff in the school, particularly for subjects like Maths, Chemistry, English, Manipuri, Physics, History, Political Science, and Computer Science.
Their expectations were belied, adds Ananda when the Government, instead of considering an arrangement to fill up the vacant number of teachers' post, passed a transfer order of one faculty member.
Frustrated with the Government's indifference on the matter, the Union representative expressed that it would be wiser for the Government to abolish the school totally.
