Bishnupur, November 03 2019: A one day training cum interaction programme on 'Importance of Quality Seed Production and Popularisation/Propagation of Guava Farming' organized by Directorate of Research, Central Agricultural University, Imphal in association with various farmers organizations of Moirang was held at Terakhongshangbi Leimaram under Moirang AC in Bishnupur district today.

The awareness programme held to enhance the productivity of farmers was attended by VC, CAU Imphal, Dr M Premjit Singh; Dy Director of Research, CAU Imphal, Dr Th Robindro; Registrar, CAU Imphal, Dr K Mamocha and pradhan Terakhongshangbi Tronglaobi GP, L Basanta as presidium members and spoke as resource persons to the farmers.

As part of the programme, the presidium members planted tree saplings around Leimaram Ibudhou Loyalakpa Laisang and also distributed saplings and 5 pumping sets to the farmers.
