Thoubal, October 03 2024: Dr Pratita Charitable Hospital and Research Institute in collaboration with the State Ayush Society, Directorate of Ayush Government of Manipur conducted a free medical camp at the hospital today.

This marks the 14th installment of free health camp organised at the hospital which is run by Dr Pratita Charitable Trust.

Free medicines were distributed to around 200 patients who showed up to receive medical consultations in the field of medicine, gynaecology, pediatrics, dermatology and dentistry.

Free screenings for various medical tests were also made available for the visiting patients at the camp.

Speaking in this connection, Dr Leishemba Moiranghtem, vice-president, Dr Pratita Charitable Hospital and Research Institute shared that the hospital has conducted many medical camps across various relief camps in collaboration with CSOs and local clubs.

Highlighting the objective of the camp, he said it was organised to provide health consultations, medicines and necessary screenings for diseases to those residing in the rural areas and with less access to such facilities.
