Ukhrul, August 02 2014 : Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association, Ukhrul while condemning the assassination of Ukhrul ADC Member Ngalangjar Malue urged the State Government to sort out any problem through peaceful means instead of deploying State security forces.

TBCA president Rashadang said that assassination of Ngalangzar has brought tension in Ukhrul district.

Violence is neither the ultimate answer nor the solution, he said and added that any form of violence is a shame.

TBCA also shared grief with the family of Ngalangjar and injured persons.

Regretting heavy deployment of State security forces and clamping of Section 144 CrPc in Ukhrul town, Rashadang said that the Government move has made the situation turbulent.

In spite of police action, the State Government must focus on humanity and developmental activities to bridge the gap between the State and the citizen, he added.
