Langthabal Intellectual Forum clarifies

Imphal, November 30 2021: Langthabal Intellectual Forum has clarified that it has not resorted to any sort of activities which may tarnish the image of any individual or MLA.

The above clarification was made by general secretary of the forum, Kh Indrajit while speaking during a press meet held today at Maibam Leikai Bokul Makhong in Langthabal AC.

He continued that Langthabal Intellectual Forum was founded in 2013 with the main objective of safeguarding the intellectual properties in the constituency and upholds the ideals of democracy.

Expressing concern over the emerging gun culture and muscle power being misused just for mere political gain in the constituency in connection with the upcoming election, he stated that such activities pose a big challenge to democracy.

In view of such situations, the forum made some statements and has no intention to defame anyone and has not supported any political party or intending candidates, he added.

Also to provide transparency regarding the expenses of the MLA Local Area Development Fund, Kh Indrajit has opined that the authorities concerned should produce a white paper for the same.
