Rice dispatched for Henglep, Tipaimukh, Singngat and Saikot ACs

CCpur, March 31 2020: With many of the meagre income families already running out of their food stocks in the run-up to 21 day Nationwide COVID-19 lockdown, Churachandpur politicians have started pulling up their sleeves to deliver the rice promised by the Government to their respective Assembly segments.

With Thanlon AC and Churachandpur AC already doing their bit in the past week, Henglep MLA Thangzalam Haokip and Tipaimukh MLA Dr Chaltonline Amo have yesterday flagged off the rice meant for their respective constituencies.

While Singngat AC MLA Ginsuanhao send-off the same for his constituency today.

Saikot MLA TN Haokip has met several CSOs under his AC yesterday wherein they agreed to lift the rice on the sub-divisional basis in phases.

The relief rice was meant for the villages in Henglep and Tipaimukh area.

Meanwhile, Dr Chaltonlien Amo said that people in Vangai sub-division in his constituency have already received their share of rice on March 29 .

Addressing the press, Singngat MLA Haopu said all families in his constituency will be given an average of 25 kgs of rice with one bag of rice planned to be shared by every two families.
