Imphal, December 31 2014 : Patriotic Writers Forum (PAWF), in a statement issued by its secretary today, said the forum would observe the 6th death anniversary of Dr Arambam Nalini Parrett on January 3, 2015 at PAWF Mayai Shanglen, New Checkon.

Mention may be made that late Dr A Nalini was the first to translate the Manipuri scripture 'Cheitharol Kumbaba' into English.

The observation event would be presided by PAWF vice-president Raghu Leishangthem.

Assistant Professor Dr Chirom Rajketon would elaborate on the topic 'Mareibak maramdamgidamak ningjaramba Saroj Nalini' during the event.

At the same time PAWF Manipur will collaborate with Meetei Council, Moreh, Hills Tribal Council, Moreh, Tamil Sangam, Moreh and Manipuri Muslim Council, Moreh and organise a Writers' Study Tour 2014 from January 9 to January 11.The team will visit Kwatha and Moreh.
