Music plays a significant role in a society: Paonam Brojen

Imphal, December 29 2020: ML A Paonam Brojen said music plays a significant role in transforming a society at Waroi Garden where he was attending an audio cassette release programme today.

A song penned by Bangladeshi writer Surjita Ningthouja titled 'Tainare Tainapham Khangda Wakhalda' and another one penned by Rakesh Naorem titled 'Pukningse Irang Langi' were released at the function.

Speaking at the function Paonam Brojen stressed on the importance of preserving old Manipuri songs and said music has always played a significant role in transforming a society.

He also lauded Ipak Films Production for their continued effort to preserve Manipuri culture and films.

The audio cassette released programme was also attended by Langpoklakpam Brajakeshor, Advisor Wangjing Tentha Kendra Development Committee and Okram Sunilkumar, president BJP Wangjing Tentha Mandal.
