Landslide hampers traffic, RAMO appeals for Govt action

Tengnoupal, May 29 2024: Incessant rains have triggered a landslide at Eastern Maring Area located to the east of Sita Lamkhai along the Imphal-Moreh Road causing grievances to commuters.

The affected regions include areas from Sita Lamkhai to Lamlong Khunou, N Satang, Chaktong, the road from Kambang Khullen to Leibi village, Rilram Centre to Saibol, Leibi village to Khudengthabi road and Moirangthel road.

In this connection, the Rilram Area Maring Organisation (RAMO) has issued a press statement urging the District Administration to address the issue at the earliest.

Additionally, RAMO in collaboration with Eastern Maring Business and Traders Association (EMBTA) are currently engaged in clearing the roads of landslide debris with the help of a JCB .
