Resolutions taken to combat COVID-19

Moirang, July 28 2020: Under the aegis of Moirang AC MLA, a meeting was convened at Modi Bhawan, Moirang Phairembam Leikai to discuss the mechanisms to combat the outbreak of COVID-19 .

The meeting was attended by several clubs, CSOs and experts from Moirang AC.

MLA Moirang AC P Sharatchandra who is also carrying the charge of chairman COVID Management Committee, Moirang AC, nodal officer CQC of the constituency Dr Ksh Umananda, MO in-charge QCs Dr L Japan, SDPO Moirang T Sanajaoba, OC Moirang RK Anilkumar, OC Phougakchao Ikhai Kh Rajen Kha Nganba, senior citizens M Kula and Ph Mani attended the meeting as dignitaries.

After minute discussion, the meeting resolved to form a task force of the constituency which comprises of different club members, CSOs and staff from departments concerned of the State Govt.The meeting also resolved to take part in the battle against COVID-19 with club volunteers in their respective villages.

In his speech, MLA P Sharatchandra hailed the role being taken by the medical staff and police personnel in combating the outbreak of the dreaded virus.

He also appealed the public to extend cooperation to the measures taken by the State police and health workers while saying that the present situation may become worse if one remains careless at this point of time.
