Imphal, April 28 2016: In its humanitarian endeavour to reach out to victims of the hailstorms that lashed Saichang area under Henglep subdivision of Churachandpur recently, Huihchim Media is plan- ning a concert on Saturday at Chiengkawnpang bazar at 5.30 pm.

According to the organisers, the 'charity musical nyte' in aid of calamity-affected people of Saichang area will be held with the theme, "Let us rebuild the Hills." Prominent artistes like LL Muona, H Kailalmuon, PCL Thuoma, Lawmnakim Hrangate (Zomi Idol '15), Ngaihching, Julie Mawi, Jerry K Bieklien, Bethsy Gangte, Sangkhum, Sangthiem, Ginkhoson, Nunthar, Thangboi, Janglal Khongsai, James Arjun and others will perform at the event.

Huihchim is a bi-lingual monthly magazine (in Gangte and English) published from Churachandpur.

The concert is a humanitarian efforts of the young, dynamic and committed editorial team of the magazine under the editorship of Raymond Gangte.

It may be mentioned that properties worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed by the hailstorms that left a trail of destruction in Saichang area of Henglep subdivision, Churachandpur dis- trict last week.

Many villagers were rendered homeless.

Various philanthropic organisations in collaboration with the State machinery have been responding to the calamity so far.
