Imphal, December 26 2014 : Chingphu Ningthou Sembi Leima Thougal Lup and Social Development Institute (SDI) felicitated the three Dr Ambedkar Fellowship Award winners at Ishok, Bishnupur district during a public gathering today.

The awardees were presented with cash and other gift items at the felicitation ceremony.

Dr Ambedkar Fellowship Award winners under Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi is conferred keeping in view of the literary, social and cultural services of the individual for the upliftment of the oppressed and depressed people of the country.

Meanwhile, the United Writers Forum Manipur headquarters president Dr Ranjit Mangang also expressed pleasure in achieving the award.
