Imphal, August 25 2019:
Reaching a lasting solution between the Government of India and NSCN-IM is welcome but it should not infringe upon the integrity of Manipur, said Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO) today.
Speaking to media persons at its office in Hatta Minuthong, MMWO general secretary Aminmuddin Moijingmayum said the organisation welcomes the NSCN-IM's talk with the Government of India and hopes for early and lasting solution.
However, the result of the peace talk should not affect the State's integrity and peace in any way, he said.
People of the State should remain vigil as the Government of India has appointment Naga peace talk interlocutor RN Ravi as Governor of Nagaland, he said.
India Government should not make any attempt to reach a final solution with the NSCN-IM without consulting all stakeholders first, he said stating that MMWO with people will face any attempt to violate the State's integrity with befitting actions.
