Imphal, June 25 2013: All India NSS Mega Summer Camp 2013 would be held at Bangalore University from Jun 29 to July 10, informed a statement issued by Dr Ch Ibohal Singh, Programme Coordinator NSS Cell, Manipur University.

It is said that about 400 NSS volunteers with 40 team and contingent leaders representing 28 States and 7 Union territories of the country are participating in the camp.

The camp is being sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

The programme will withness colourful event like talks on various issues and social dimensions, youth conventions, life skills training, exchanging ideas and thoughts, visiting to various historical monuments and educational institutions in and around Bangalore.

Also to understand the multilingual, multicultural diversity and the unity in the country there would be cultural programmes in the said camp.

A team of 12 NSS volunteers from the State who would be taking part in the camp led by K Kiranjit Singh, Programme Officer NSS Unit-I of Moirang, was flagged off by Dr Ch Ibohal Singh at North AOC today.
