Culprits involve in Shakila case to be ostracised

Imphal, July 23 2011: JAC against the kidnapping of Shakila alias Memi, Keirao Makting Mayai Leikai has resolved to ostracized those culprits involved in the kidnapping and raping of Shakila alias Memi of Keirao Makting Mang Makha from their own locality.

The resolution to ostracise them was resolved at a public meeting held at Keirao Makting Mang Mathak Community hall today.

The public meeting which was organized by the JAC was graced by the advisor of the JAC, MV Mansoor Ali and Md Samsujamaam as the chief guest and president respectively.

President of All Manipur Muslim Pangal Women Organisation, Anwari Noorjahan, member of Manipur State Commission for Women Mazida and Md Jamaal were the guest of honour.

The meeting further resolve that the two persons who have surrendered to the police, namely, Mohammad Hasan(23) s/o Naseer Ali of Keirao Makting Awang Leikai and Md Babul (26) s/o Nasub Ali of Keirao Makting Awang Leikai should be punished according to the laws of the land and a memorandum in this regard be submitted to the concern, both of them should be ostracized and anyone found giving shelter to the culprits will also be ostracized.
